Eastern Illinois opened up the 2013-14 indoor track season with 14 first place finishes as the Panthers hosted the EIU Early Bird on Friday night in Lantz Fieldhouse. Calvin Edwards and Jalisa Paramore were both dual event winners for EIU.

Eastern Illinois will travel to the NCAA Midwest Regional this Friday competing in the men's and women's events in Ames, Iowa. The men will compete in the 10K at 12 p.m. followed by the women's 6K at 1:15 p.m.
