EIU Athletic Alumni Spotlight - Caitlin Napoleoni (Cross Country/Track)

Eastern Illinois men's and women's track and field opened the 2014-15 indoor season on Friday (Dec. 5) evening, as the Panthers hosted the annual Early Bird event inside the Lantz Fieldhouse.

The Panther indoor track and field season gets underway on Friday (Dec. 5), as the Eastern Illinois men and women are set to host the annual pre-holiday Early Bird Meet inside the Lantz Fieldhouse. The double-dual meet is scheduled for a 3 p.m. start.

Five members of the Eastern Illinois men's and women's track teams were named All Academic by the USTFCCCA. In addition both the EIU men's and women's programs were honored as All-Academic teams.

Eastern Illinois men's and women's track and field continued action at the NCAA West Regional in Fayetteville, Ark., on Friday evening.  The Panthers wrap up weekend action on Saturday night with the 4x100m relay team in action.

Eastern Illinois track and field opened up competition at the NCAA West Regional in Fayetteville, Ark., advancing two athletes to the NCAA Outdoor Championships.  The Panthers return to action on Friday and Saturday.
