Eastern Illinois cross country returns to action this Friday night as the Panthers travel to the Bradley Intercollegiate in Peoria.

EIU women's cross country won the EIU Walt Crawford open for the first time since 2005 as all five runners finished within 17 seconds of each other. The Panther men placed 2nd at the season opening meet.

EIU cross country opens the 2014 season at home with the Walt Crawford Open on Friday afternoon. Women's 5K at 4;45 pm, Men's 8K at 5:30 pm
