Eastern Illinois men's cross country turned in one of its best performances at the Notre Dame Invitational since the 1970's on Friday afternoon as the Panthers placed third in the men's Gold Division race. EIU's women's team placed eighth in a competitive field as both teams returned to action for the first time since Sept. 11.
